The Arts Society Romsey will be visiting Stratfield Saye on Wednesday 27th July 2022. Group and individual visits are very limited and we are fortunate to be offered this opportunity.
Stratfield Saye House has been the elegant, but intimate home to the Dukes of Wellington since 1817. The house and gardens offer an intriguing and informative insight into the life of the Great Duke of Wellington. We will be able to view the fascinating collection of paintings and furniture and see the Wellington Exhibition featuring his magnificent funeral carriage and charting his military and political life.
We will also visit the nearby Wellington Farm Shop on the way home for a short refreshment and shopping break.
Travel will be by coach. Booking closes on 11th July 2022.
The cost is £56.00 per person including lunch (choices below) or £45.00 per person without lunch. BACS payments are preferred if possible..
