Friday 22 November 2019. The Houses of Parliament: 1000 Years of a British Icon with Dr Caroline Shenton FSA FRHistS

Dr Caroline Shenton was formerly Director of the Parliamentary Archives, worked in the Palace for 18 years, and has written two acclaimed books on the Houses of Parliament.
She has appeared on BBC4, the Discovery Channel, BBC Parliament  and Radio 4.
Many of you may remember her lecture at The Arts Society Romsey in celebration of the anniversary of Women’s Suffrage, last year, which was rated excellent.

 

The day will commence at 10.00  and conclude at 15.00.
Included in the ticket price are coffee/tea and a buffet lunch.
